Metamorfosis Action
To be in the world through art
We live in between the need to always be with oneself and the need to always be in the world. "I am going to (re)know you and then I am going to (re)know myself." In this space between oneself and the world, a kind of playground opens up at the origin of expression: a threshold of metamorphosis that allows those who wish to orient themselves by engaging in an artistic practice.
An exploration of the sensitive acting, emerging and immersing oneself in the reciprocity of intrinsic links between one's own history and the world, in order to develop through art, the process of transformation, the play of metamorphoses. This setting in motion invites introspection - both autonomous and relational - to listen to a space that calls and recalls, consciously experiencing the present materialities that link memory and aspiration. By making oneself present to the experience - real in its lived moments and imaginary in its manifestations - a change of substance emanates, a singular corporeality brought into play by the invisible layers of thoughts, emotions, dreams and desires, and the visible articulation of forms. This process, spontaneous in its action yet refined through the deepening of its possibilities, will lead to qualities of presence that gradually develop in a gaze that is both vigilant and enveloping.
Life in art is a constant back-and-forth between sensitive experience and reflection, aimed at creating connections with the diversity of the world: a practice open to professionals and anyone wishing to engage with the world through art.
The artist develops and expresses a poetic experience - an experience that comes rooted in their perceptions and one that arises from sensitive play. They inhabit a generative movement of open curiosity, transitioning from awareness of impressions and sensations to the embodiment and refinement of the emerging qualities of action.
Embodying and restoring. A movement that both receives and transmits, suggesting an immersive and ephemeral poetic quality, intimately tied to the vital need to cultivate one's sense of wonder and deepen one's relationship with the world. The way in which the work is expressed reflects its content and form, organically creating meaning that follows the flow of transformations.
The resonance of the work fosters a sense of belonging and recognition. By becoming permeable to the play of metamorphoses, a kind of transparency emerges - of one's being within the multiple, or of the multiple within oneself. An invitation that explores the phenomenon of beauty, the feeling of infinity within the moments.
Elements of work
The work is offered in private sessions or in groups through courses and workshops.
The starting point may be a personal request, an ongoing project, or simple curiosity.
The work leads to a deeper exploration of one's resources – the beginnings of the strands of expression.
Expression, with the imaginary focus of composition, develops in the space between reflection and the spontaneity of sensitive play. A dialogue is created between structure and spontaneity, form and creative singularity.
From silence to expression
Mobilization, availability, passage
- The phenomenon of presence.
- Listening to impressions, perceiving sensations.
The observation that guides and the path from sensations to cognition.
- Preparing the body for action. To act, to embody.
The voice
- The voice embodied in sound, text, and song.
Deepening and familiarizing yourself with the vibratory qualities of your voice allows you to discover its full range, its landscapes and feel its resonance.
- The body is released when the voice connects.
The body
- The body as memory, support and receptacle.
- The rhythm necessary for action, between movement and repose.
A fluidity is created between body and voice, memory and imagination, depth and nuance.
Vigilance
- The circulation of attention, knowing that we can only focus on one thing at a time.
Alternating focus between inner understanding and exposure to the world.
- The vigilant state of imagination where the focus is on the self with tangible emotional sensitivity.
- The vigilant state in which conscious control is reduced, allowing the action-reaction movement flow.
The sensitive acting of metamorphosis
- Permeability between being and form, between presence and appearance.
- Associations and the emergence of active figures.
- The qualities of presence, from the dense to the subtle: their concentration, amplification, exploration, nuance and resonance.
- Exploring the relationship between form and content: content creating form and vice versa. The persona, in the sense of mask, amplifies the voice, ‘per sonare’, resonating through it. The forms act as containers where the content unfolds, giving life to the form.
- The form through these two roots: form as dwelling, immobility, and form as movement, a flow of images that succeed one another. Form is a space that encompasses location and displacement.
- Intra- and inter- personal reflections on the artistic process and its restitution, which does not seek to imitate or represent the world but to question it.
Score of actions and development of its details
When I act, I define myself in a doing; thus I am the action. By being the action, I live it and, therefore I receive it.
Actions emerge in the space between opposites:
∙ A choice made among infinite possibilities.
∙ Active in the action and passive in the reaction.
∙ The experience of the present, supported by memory and anticipation.
∙ Articulated in its form and improvised in its execution in the moment.
∙ Spontaneous, created once, and structured, repeated during presentations.
∙ A personal act serving the impersonal world.
∙ Passing through oneself without being solely of oneself.
∙ Allowing us to discover and to be discovered.
∙ The action disappears once it is done, and leaving a trace, to remember.
